For people who have used U4U, when the beneficiary does the pre-travel attestations, do you have to upload vaccination records to prove that you had the vaccines?

When the war started, the US Embassy in Kyiv destroyed my wife's Ukrainian biometric passport with SB-1 visa attached, green card, vaccination records, etc.

I am trying to get her back home using U4U.

No you don’t need records of the vaccines.

No - she just only needs to state that she’s received (if she indeed has), or promise to receive after arriving in the US. Also need to have TB test within 90 days of arrival

Some questions for discussion:

Has anyone here on U4U started the TPS process? Or thinking about starting the process?

My understanding that if you file for TPS it does not affect your U4U status, just protects you from being expelled. Does this sound right?

If you have an EAD, do you now have to file for another EAD under TPS?

I'm finding the information so far pretty vague.....

My wife is currently applying for TPS for her mom. Our local charity here who does the paperwork for Ukrainians has told us it just gives her 6 more months of being here. Kind of like an extension before she would have to go home when her 2 years is up.

I have no idea if this is true since I have not verified any of this yet. Usually I'm way more up to speed on the visa process but since I had to apply for her 4 other family members and help them get settled in America while having a 2 year old and a full time job I don't have much time lol.

Based on your VJ timeline, it seems your wife is now eligible for N400 early filing, at least based on her LPR date.  Has she filed N400 yet?  Her being a USC would give her mom a path to a GC.

Is there a way to tag this somehow? I am starting to look into it for my beneficiaries just now and will share any good information I  find. I am also interested in what others have to share, though.

I know of one who successfully arrived but their citizenship was not Russia (this could theoretically be a factor for delay)

Any updates how long it took the travel authorization from CBP for the none Ukrainian beneficiary

It was relatively quick. I don't remember how long because it was more than a year ago but I think it was just 2-3 weeks from the moment the Ukrainian citizen got it.

A friend applied as a sponsor for U4U over 6 months ago and the website only shows a Notice of Receipt.  Tried filing the "Outside Normal Processing Times request" but it fails after entering the Receipt Number, saying "Data is unavailable" for the Form Number and Date Filed.  Tried messaging via Inbox with no response.  Impossible to get anyone on the phone.  Any suggestions?  Cheers.

Hey y’all. I need a little help here if possible. I’m the sponsor. And just received this message from uscis

Travel Authorization Decision Update

On December 5, 2023, we received your updated travel authorization decision from CBP for Receipt Number I******. The original decision has changed. The new decision is posted to your USCIS online account. Please review the decision and follow the instructions.

and all the documents Attached are just the approved travel authorization. So why does it says the original decision has changed? I never received anything else
