Hello everyone.
thank you for all the information here. It was very helpful.
we submitted the online application on May 19th, got travel authorization on May 21st, and picked up beneficiaries from the airport on May 26th. Very fast!

I just want to share more about what happens after they arrive.

1. TB blood exam within 2 weeks of arrival to USA. I found an USCIS approved civil surgeon that did this for cheap, we paid cash. Since they don’t have medical insurance yet.

2. Medical insurance. After calling many numbers, I found Russian speaking medical insurance agent that is now working to get them free medical insurance,

but I will confirm once we actually receive it, fingers crossed.

3. Work permit. Fill out I-765. It’s not possible to do that online, you have to send it, together with $410 fee

4. Benefits. Like SNAP … etc. We haven’t applied for those yet, I will share once we do.

My beneficiaries currently have health insurance through our state marketplace. State marketplace. They also had an interview today for temporary assistance as well as snap benefits.  I am not an attorney though. But my understanding was there was a new law that passed that says they're eligible. Even though we are sponsoring them. The application asked if there was a sponsor and we said yes.

Hello there, could you please share more how did you apply for SNAP and temporary benefits, what documents were needed to submit? Thank you

We only find out about the approval after beneficiary have checked their online account. No email was sent. Make sure to check it weekly or daily.

I reapplied for the third time yesterday afternoon. Travel authorization is now in hand!!!  I did try a slightly different tactic...

Hmmm I might copy you. What is this tactic you speak of? 😁

Third time i used my father in law as a sponsor because I already had two failed attempts. One stuck in confirmed state based on bad passport numbers. Second submitted but not confirmed. On the second though I used the alien numbers assigned on first submission. Third time I used a new sponsor and clicked do not know alien number. Sailed through. My first and second still stuck.

Hello

I applied on June 1 to sponsor 2 Ukrainians. I have the confirmation dated June 2, Does the confirmation notice mean I am approved as a sponsor? I ask because the beneficiaries have not had an email and there is not follow up, and Kjcdc090385's posts seem to indicate that the confirmation Notice does not mean I was ok'd as a sponsor. I am contemplating re-applying to get things moving.

I have this info below in my USCIS profile- should I being doing something more to move things along? Thanks- this forum is a great resource!

...

Have you created a USCIS account for your beneficiaries? Or have they created it for themselves? There they will need to attest to having been vaccinated and what not. There's more steps to complete after your complete I-134. What do the instructions in the confirmation notice say?
