Has anyone else applied for the Uniting for Ukraine program?

On Uniting for Ukraine the beneficiary does not need be a relative. I am sure you could not and will not find that condition on the website since it does not exist. I think this officer must have been confused. I think there is actually another person in this thread that has their financee in the process also.

I will share the trick with you guys. When you are calling USCIS when the automated system asks for your first answer, you need to say "info pass"... you will talk with the actual person in less than 1 minute

Anyone successfully changed a passport number after a case was confirmed? I've called, emailed, etc. No response.

Your beneficiary will be able to tick a box that says "My passport number is incorrect". Then follow these instructions.

Yea we did that too. No response. Funny I wonder when that option showed up because I swear it wasn't there when we first noticed the mistake two weeks ago. Either way, I have done that and heard nothing.

What is the best flight route for somebody to take to get to San Francisco from Ukraine? My beneficiary has no English experience and our current "top" option is for her to travel to Paris where she will stay with a friend and go on a direct flight to SFO. We want to do a direct flight only because of no English.

Does U4U grant humanitarian parol status? visitukraine.today says Yes. The page says: "... Ukrainians who received or will receive a humanitarian parole into the United States (including participants of the Uniting for Ukraine program - U4U) in the period from February 24, 2022 to September 30, 2023 ... have the right to apply for basic benefits available to refugees during the period of their humanitarian parole " and "Ukrainian humanitarian parolees are eligible to apply for federal mainstream benefits, such as cash assistance through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Supplemental Security Income, health insurance through Medicaid, and food assistance through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)."
Has anybody confirmed this to be true? I'm mostly worried about medical insurance.

Lufthansa has nonstop to SFO from FRA

Yes, U4U is humanitarian Parole. From what I understand the information you quoted is true. Health insurance can be obtained through the healthcare.gov site.

 My beneficiaries currently have health insurance through our state marketplace. State marketplace. They also had an interview today for temporary assistance as well as snap benefits.  I am not an attorney though. But my understanding was there was a new law that passed that says they're eligible. Even though we are sponsoring them. The application asked if there was a sponsor and we said yes.
