Has this happened to anyone else?

Last year (March or April) I sent in my naturalization certificate and an SS-5 to get my citizenship amended plus my name change. After a few weeks of nail biting the certificate came back to me and that was the last I thought of it. Today I was checking SSA.gov for another reason and I find that they haven’t updated either my name of my citizenship? What?

I’ll have to cal them next week but this is just silly.

Yes, it happened to me. I sent in my passport but nothing changed. I sent in my passport for a second time and it was completed.

If you have your passport, send that in instead. The cost to replace a lost passport is cheaper and quicker than a lost certificate.

Lover and hubby to 1, Daddy to 2. I do enjoy growing older but not growing up.
