New Fees for Lifting of Conditions

Hi all,

Well its been awhile since we've had to deal with paperwork with USCIS but like everything else the time has come again to jump into the mix. I'm going to start putting together my paperwork for the lifting of conditions for my wife and her boy. I see where they are raising the fees again and I just wanted some clarification on the total I send to them when I mail it out. Would I be sending

545.00 for my wifes lifting of conditions (this includes the biometrics) and then another 80.00 for our boy's biometrics? Or is it 545.00 per person. I will be including him on the I-751 papers as a K-2 child. Thanks for the help. Travis Maria and Andres

Filing Fee Increase Information:

Effective July 30, 2007, the fee for this petition will increase to $545 (including biometrics) plus $80 biometric fee for each dependent you include in your petition, regardless of age. Petitions postmarked on or after July 30 must include the new fee amount.

So, for your spouse and one dependent included in the filing, it would be $625.00.

Thanks for the quick input..... I've forgotten how valuable this website is. Its been nice not to have to deal with the USCIS but its' time again.... thanks again for the information.

I wasn't even aware of that... shows how much I follow all this stuff these days :whistle:

I just saved a bunch of money on my application ... :thumbs:

July 27th I-751 sent to Nebraska

July 30th USPS delivered

Aug 22nd check cashed

Aug 23rd I797C received - case been transferred to California

Aug 29th Biometrics Appt Letter arrived

Sept 12th Biometrics Appt Pittsburgh

Sept 24th email notice of Approval - card ordered !!!!!!
