Required Documents?

Hello everyone! 

 

This is my first time posting so I'm sorry if I mess anything up. 

My fiance is from New Zealand and I am the US Citizen. 

We just got our visa petition approved yesterday! I just had some questions however.

So as we wait for NVC to get the approved petition and that to move to the consulate after NVC step, I am trying to make sure to have everything in order to avoid mistakes. I checked the required documents for the Auckland consulate that are listed on this website, but it has not been updated since 2018. What are the required documents to mail in? Are they different person to person, or country to country? There is something on the required documents of this website that says that my fiance, the beneficiary, will need to provide bank statements. He has no job or income as I am able to support us both and I also want to spend as much time together as possible due to time difference, but he might get a job now haha. Is that typical? And if so, how many months back does it go for the statements?

some embassies don't make it easy to find out if there are special needed documents

i went to US embassy in new Zealand and then thru  more pages to find the following statement
