What @Jeanne Adil said.  We were in that situation (my now wife filed a K1 for me, also a woman) way back when, except for the Vietnam part.  We weren’t treated any differently than opposite sex couples.

09/19/2021 interview scheduled - electronic notice received 

09/27/2021 hard copy interview notice received (issue date: 09/21/2021)

10/27/2021 interview (10.40am), approved

11/06/2021 oath ceremony (7.30am)

Yeah! Same sex marriage here after K1 visa sponsor for Vietnam fiancé. No difference as other K1 couples. Go ahead and do it. 

USCIS:

2016-04-16: Filed I-129F

2016-04-18: USPS tracking shows package as delivered

2016-04-20: NOA1 E-mail received. Routed to CSC for processing.

2016-07-13: NOA2 App Notification. (84 days)

2016-07-19: NOA2 Hard Copy Rec'd

NVC:

2016-07-28: NVC case received

2016-07-29: NVC case #

2016-08-02: NVC left to Embassy (In Transit)

Embassy:

2016-08-04: Case is "READY"

2016-09-07: Medical exam

2016-09-12: Interview (APPROVED)

2016-10-01: JFK POE (Ticket booked)

I just submit my F-129/K-1 for same sex. let's see how long this will take. ( I'm using Rapid Visa )
