Lawyer submitted black and white scans

Hi I am In the cr1 process, our lawyer submitted our documents in March this year. I logged on and was just double checking everything they submitted and noticed they submitted all my civil documents in black and white. Although I sent them scans in colour so I’m a little confused. But my questions is should I just submit the colour of everything under the additional sections?

thanks

NVC states scans must be in color.

I would re-upload in additional docs

Thankyou. Do you think this would reset my review timeline?

Reports in the monthly threads indicate timelines aren't reset after initial submission (before first review).

You will more than likely receive an RFE for submitting black and white scans though and that will definitely re-set your wait time...

So better do it now instead of in a month...

Yes you’re right. Thankyou. Do I just submit under the additional documents?

I think so... you can submit under additional documents. Choose the correct tag and maybe write a note stating you're re-submitting that civil document in color...

  • 2 weeks later...

Here they show a black and white document (police record from Ecuador) :

Maybe they mean the scans for pictures for Passports, IDs. . . What do you think?

Thanks everyone… I ended up just leaving it as is and I just got DQ today.

That's great news! What day did you submit in March?

I am so happy to be wrong.

Good news on getting DQ.
