Hey,

I-130 application USCIS

PD : 29th August, 2021

AR 1 : 21st Sept, 2021

SC (at the time of application) : Nebraska

Petitioner : USC

It was approximately 8 months since we were stuck on 'Actively being reviewed' status. I visited their website where the processing time for Nebraska was 5 to 7 months and they said that if u have applied before 27th  Sep, 2021 , u can apply for a case inquiry. We tried it but it said that we still are in normal processing times. Confused from this , we called USCIS since we did not hear from them ever since the first "Actively Being Reviewed", no RFE sent to us, too. They received my call but told me that my Service Centre has always been California Service Centre and that i will be eligible for a case inquiry in Feb, 2023 (in the worst case scenario).  She also told me that on receipt notice, it is always written Nebraska. It has been 8 months and all this time , i have been checking processing times for Nebraska and now I am confused if the California will take even more time than Nebraska or what ? Kindly guide me. I have heard that California has longer processing times than Nebraska. I know nobody knows the exact time but can someone tell me if they have a similar (if not same case) like mine ? I also request ur rough estimates on this.

Mine was before covid issues

at Nebraska for 10 months

transferred to Missouri (letter said for faster processing but it wasn't fast)

case was there another 6 months

and now,  this is the covid era and post covid with backup petitions

relax ,  and just do as they say for any documents

u really can't speed the process up

no rough estimates can be given '/  its dependent on case loads of each office and the officer handling each case

My PD Is Aug 31 2021. I have been in AR since Sept 22 2021 at California Service Center. I am eligible to inquire about my case next Wednesday. I am still waiting to be approved for my petition

I have been AR since 9-9-21.  USC petitioning for spouse at CSC.  PD is 8-10-21 and K3 filed 12-2-21.  Contacted Congressional rep with no luck either.  Submitted an out of process inquiry 10 days ago with no response yet.  And so we wait...

Below are the processing times for California Service Center. Going by your priority date, you may be very close to being approved. In a week, you should submit an ONPT request and see what they say.
