Hi all.

Please excuse my incessant questions..

We are currently at NVC stage and I have a question: Are we no longer required to make a physical package to mail out? I somehow thought we were required to upload forms and docs on CEAC as well as mailing physical copies off?

Please help 😔

Everything will be done online through CEAC.

Thank you so much!!! And if I don't have a scanner is it possible to take clear pictures of the documents to upload? Or it has to be a scan of the required original?

Just use the app called camscanner on your cellphone to scan your documents.

Here are the instructions for scanning documents for NVC stage.

Be aware your uploads should be under 2MB per file.

Important things to remember: if the petitioner was married before make sure you upload the divorce decree.

I would also read through October 2021- February 2022 NVC submission threads to see what type of RFEs people received.

You don't want to forget a document and get hit with another 3 month wait.

You will also need to take originals to the interview. So, if your partner needs to send you anything make sure they mail it out before interview.

Thank you.. Yes we're definitely trying to avoid that 3month reset 😟

The reason I asked is because there are some original documents I need that are in Zimbabwe, I was going to ask my mother to scan them and email them to me, so hubby and I can upload onto CEAC. She would then post them by mail so that I have them physically by the time the interview rolls around..

I will definitely check out those threads 🤗🤗
