International address format on I-797C letters

Hi all,

I got an email that my I-130 petition was approved! Noticed, however, that the address on the letter was written: "Toronto, XX" instead of "Toronto, ON". I'm assuming it's because the XX is typically a U.S. state.

Has anyone who's received a letter internationally recently noticed that as well? Where the state is usually is written as "XX"? The province is listed correctly on the USCIS website, too.

This is a non-issue.  You're moving to the NVC stage, where you'll provide the applicant's address again anyway.  No worries.  Contact with NVC is by email, not mail.
