After seeing a photo of a post vaccination double amputee the photo reminded me of people born with birth defects due to their mothers taking prescribed thalidomide while pregnant. The science at the time insisted thalidomide was safe. Public pressure said otherwise, and so birth defects stopped.

Science has since came around and says pregnant. mothers should not take thalidomide and men taking thalidomide should abstain from or wear contraception during intercourse.

I wonder if 20 years from now something similar will be said about the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines with respect to heart and amputation risks.

There's no doubt, and Fauci will be long-gone in terms of availability for prosecution.

"He explained that Snow had been a very healthy pilot until he got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, at which point his health went into decline, and culminated in the cardiac arrest."

Did Mr Snow hide his decline in health or did  American  Airlines cover up the fact that he was not healthy to pilot a passenger jet?

How long was the interval between the pilot getting the vaccine and the incident?

I'm struggling to find any discussion of this on reputable aviation websites. If this were real, I would expect to see industry publications discussing it. We don't even need to get into the whole "lamestream media" discussion -- every industry has its own trade publications and gossip sites.

VAERS have skyrocketed since the Covid vaccination started.  Not really surprising, as often when a vaccine is developed for a new diseases there are issues while getting it right.  The tortured history of getting working and safe enough polio vaccine is a classic example. The swine flu vaccination from the 1970s is another classic.

What will happen over the next several decades is that quietly and with the media under reporting it, a truly safe vaccine will be produced that doesn’t trigger amputations in diabetics or heart attacks in 25 year old professional athletes.

Then after the statute of limitations has run out, historians will document that the original vaccines weren’t safe though over all did some good (which I believe because active case counts did clearly drop when the vaccines rolled out in 2021 before Delta variant turned the tide).

Active case counts are falling in 2022 not because of the vaccines but because the dominant strains and variants are more transmissible and weaker, at least in countries that didn’t have a zero Covid policy.  People aren’t bothering to test, and when people are getting their negative test results after they pay and before they swab, you begin to suspect the labs are cooking the books anyway.

It's a nonsense claim and unfortunately it's being spread around the atypical disreputable locations. It is quite true that vaccine side effects can present themselves a stretch of time later. I can think of several reputable doctors and institutions studying a few of them. Individuals like these though, do great harm to those that are legitimately trying to get answers. I find it strange if he had concerns about the vaccine, why he chose J&J, the one where such risks may be higher.

That is certainly true, there are excellent case reports and ongoing studies. It is also successfully treated. However, there is no evidence that this shot did anything to him. He has claims. I might also claim that the vaccine dyed my hair black and made me grow eight limbs. I might claim that a vaccine gave me a heart attack, but what proof is there of this? I could also have had numerous pre-existing conditions, including catching COVID, that resulted in the offending incident. He is a guy that has made claims and those that are biting at his story are those that have vested interests in seeing it plastered as the truth with little merits to go on.

Btw, in case you'd dismiss me as a person that has always been angry and skeptical at people that claim the vaccine is responsible for everything and anything wrong in their lives - I have shared my husband's cardiac experience post vaccine here. I have not shared my own personal experience, or that I have participated in a post vaccine effect study, and have over the course of these past months been in contact of reputable doctors that are trying to help a small number of several thousand patients with two different types of unique, but concerning, post vaccine effects. We are certainly looking for answers, though the answers we find are not as nefarious or conspiracy oriented as one might think.

Here is a case of an AA pilot that died mid-flight (cardiac events can and do happen on flights statistically and offer some risks to pilots and passengers!). https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-34453146 Of course this was pre-COVID age, but I suspect his family never accused any of the numerous vaccines he had in his life of being the culprit.

We are certainly looking for answers, though the answers we find are not as nefarious or conspiracy oriented as one might think.

I also shared my vaccine reaction here, which was terrifying to me at the time. It took me five months to recover in full. My system freaked out with the first dose and went into overdrive creating antibodies, which in turn led to inflammation in my joints that was so painful at times, I wished I could have just unscrewed my hands at the wrist. Eventually, through some NSAIDs, cold therapy and good old fashioned time, I was back to normal. And I was happy to roll up my sleeve for my booster in December. I had the advice of my doctors and my own common sense guiding me. I'll gladly take the next booster when my age cohort is eligible in my state.

I'm also in a post-vaccine effects study -- this one lasts five years, and is particularly focused on the role inflammation plays in how the body reacts to the vaccines. Every month I travel to Cedars-Sinai and give three vials of blood. I get feedback after each draw -- in time, more tests will be run, but right now I've mostly been learning about antibody levels. I learned that it's highly unlikely I've ever had COVID given the very low level of "natural" antibodies in my blood, while my spike antibody levels are enormous. It's the least I can do to help further scientific understanding.
