The problem with that is also I don't think we have enough evidence, so it looks like a legitimate relationship. That's why we were going to go to Germany as soon as possible.

If you can make it to Germany (presuming you have funds and time for that), getting married and then filing for DCF directly at the embassy will be the fastest option. You'll still have to provide evidence of relationship, but they will also interview you both together as part of the process, hence why it goes so much faster.

I have enough savings for Germany I think. Do you have an idea for a timeframe of that process? 

Like get married day 1, day 2 go to embassy and fill out papers, etc. I assume you probably need a bunch of appointments for this, or can you just walk in there and get it done?

Unfortunately I don't know the timeframe. Under normal circumstances, DCF would take a few months from start to finish. The key thing is, as the USC you don't need to be there the entire time. Once the I-130 is filed at the Embassy and you do your interview there, you can leave. However, your fiancee would need to stay behind and wait out the rest of the process. Best bet to find out is to email them directly and see if you can find out processing times:

For humanitarian parole it looks like it just requires form i-131 (Application for Travel Document), and form i-134 (Affidavit of Support).

Do I fill them both out myself? Form i-134 looks like I could but i-131 looks like maybe she has to fill out (or I could for her)? This image is from page 2 of i-131. Do I simply fill it out and check box 1.f.?

I might seem like I'm getting ahead of myself, but as stated the process can be slow so I'd like to be at the top. And also, maybe these documents will be different on Monday when the DHS portal opens for the new Uniting for Ukraine process.

She's the one who needs the travel document, so those questions are for her.

The I-134 sounds like something the sponsor (you) need to fill out.

Is it possible to file more than one i-134? I ask because I'm not sure I have enough income to be accepted since I work part time during school. My last tax return is $16,100. I also have $6000 saving, $3000 stocks, and a vehicle paid off worth about $12,000. I have also recently got a new job that pays more than my previous job. My school is in my hometown so I live at my parents so the household income is way higher so I thought they could also file i-134.

 

And about the i-131. I know it could be different on Monday when the new program starts, but for now it seems really strange for a foreigner to fill out since it asks for their city and state and stuff that they wouldn't have yet since they are in a foreign country.

Some folks apply for parole/travel document within the US, so it's not that strange. Just disregard it if it doesn't fit her situation.

Ok millefleur I was looking at what you said before about getting married in Europe and then going to The US embassy in Germany for the I-130.
I followed the link to the US embassy in Berlin and sent an email for advice. (After the email i was left at some generic state.gov website for the US Department of State so I hope it was the right email anyways). It said wait 3-5 days for a reply. 
I was then looking into how to get married in Germany and it seems like a total hassle and long process in itself. So I read getting married in Denmark may be the way to go instead. 
That’s where I’m at now. Seems like I’m going a bit sideways with this haha, but I know many others are experiencing these issues too. Stay tuned

As a random point to this, I noted on Reddit a few days ago someone was posting about being a German citizen marrying their South African partner in Denmark. People asked why they would go to Denmark, and the answer was, as you said, that Germany has a really bureaucratic and burdensome process. I would recommend taking a look into the Utah Zoom Wedding 'option,' but as you have the means to get to her and would DCF, it seems irrelevant and a bit unceremonious.

USC = United States Citizen.

 

If you were to file the I-130 spousal for your girlfriend upon marriage, you'd certainly be eligible to have your parents joint-sponsor her - so don't worry about that part. USCIS calculates your income requirements based on the poverty level; I think in one of the main forums we should have a link to how that's done. If you don't make the requisite amount, you can supplement the differences in assets, but the assets have to be 5x (iirc) the difference. Generally, only assets that can be easily liquified (i.e., not a car or house) would factor into this equation.

 

I nonetheless see no reason why the humanitarian parole (or 'Unity for Ukraine') option mentioned previously wouldn't let you do the same.

 

I also feel compelled to ask, as we're talking about spousal and all, but you've mentioned you were unsure you'd even meet the bar for K1. How long have you known this girl, have you met her before? The I-864 (financial affidavit) is a very significant legal obligation and does hold you liable for her in the U.S. if it comes to it; marriage imposes significant obligations on the USC.

There is the Utah online marriage as an alternative, if / when you decide to take the I-130 route. https://www.utahcounty.gov/Dept/clerkaud/PassMarr/OnlineMarriage.asp

 

USCIS recognizes the marriage when you show evidence of being in the physical presence ( consummate marriage )  w your spouse ( in your case when/if you decide to fly out and DCF your I-130 .

Wow, I'm surprised you can get married online. She deserves better than that so we're going to take a step back and try and do something more conventional. I'm still going to check out the new program when the portal opens tomorrow though. And yeah, your suspicions are correct why we wouldn't meet K1 criteria or proof for the relationship. We haven't met in person before due to school, corona, and war. Luckily it is easy to stay close nowadays with all the tech. Hopefully the war ends soon for the people of Ukraine, and so we can go to Germany as planned.
