That is to show “ income “ , but unemployment your current income is 0. And to use assets then 5x .

BUT your fiancée is UKRAINIAN ( ?) and I am hoping much discretion is given …especially given todays announcements of President Biden United Ukrainian …and ref to US Sponsors https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/21/politics/biden-administration-ukraine-refugees/index.html

Hope you get responses from those that just had interviews or VJ Members with other resources

Yes, she is and I'm hoping they go a bit easy on me as far as the employment goes. I'm going through job interviews and hopefully I land something soon so my unemployment wouldn't become a problem. Let's see.

Ok, got it. I'm sponsoring my fiance and her two kids too so I need to have 3 of these I-134 forms filled and signed or just one? I already have her kids listed along with her in the I-134.

Just one

I got the job offer verbally early this week and awaiting the offer letter and may take some time i.e either this week or the next week. So, in my I-134 form I should enter the new company's information as the present employer and to provide the offer letter as the supporting document and also provide paystubs from the previous employer should suffice the need I guess. I don't have to provide the letter from the bank or bank statements. What do you think?

I-134 recently updated its form to the Edition Date 4/25/22.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

I-134 supporting Ukrainians has a special "File Online" (see attached pic), which I've never seen before.

If you try it, please share your experience with others.

Online is better but I have my own doubts about this new process. When I went to the link this is what it says. I think is for the offering support for the Ukrainians coming into US as refugees and might not be applicable for K-1 visa applicants as they are coming into the US for a temporary stay. I better submit a physical document.

I wish you the best of luck. I was denied for my disability income not being sufficient. What's crazy is that the "fear" is that my husband could be a potential "tax payer burden". The thing is, I was already receiving benefits and as my husband, he wouldn't be and isn't even eligible. Best of luck to you and your family, I hope it all works out.

A. Banks refuse to type up old fashioned “ Account Verification “ and almost NO ONE submits them

( if u have money in the bank, send a couple of statements, otherwise NO)

Would you say this applies to the self employed? from what I researched, the embassies give greater scrutiny to the self employed.

As for account verification, I did get my bank to issue a statement showing date opened and current balance, but I cant them to provide a Deposit total for the year,  problem is, they lump ALL account to account transfers and credits in with check and cash deposits, which doesn't provide an accurate accounting of deposits for the year, I broke them down myself, but I don't think the embassy will accept it if it's not on bank letterhead. I think my only option it anyway, along with my bank statements for the year, (IF, and only IF they ask for it.

The more evidence items the better. Though I don't have specific inside knowledge, if you provide them more than one evidence item they scrutinize each a little less. Also from what I understand the more assets you have in deposits in the bank the less dollars of income are important and vise versa.

If was self employed I would make sure I supplied the back officer statements (my experience with banks are if you are persistent with them they will provide bank officer statements, but the results of these statements may vary) and tax transcripts. Then provide self-employment the best you can.

I just wanted to update the folks following this thread that the K-1 visas were approved and printed for my fiance and her kids and awaiting the final part of the lethargic process for delivering them to the delivery location. It gets very slow at the ** end and days are passing by with very little movement. I'm extending the hotel stay in Frankfurt one day at a time. Regarding the I-134 support documents they were fine with my old pay stubs, last year W2 and my bank statement.
