Is that approval for the I-130 or the I-485?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

i 485

1. Wait for the green card to show up.

2. If the name is wrong, file I-90 to get it corrected.

3. When you have the I-90 receipt call USCIS, say info pass, and make an appointment to get an I-551 stamp.  Expect to surrender the green card.  So make sure you make physical and electronic copies of both sides of the green  card

4. If you were married for less than two years relative to the green card’s “resident since date”’, then 90 days before the green card’s two year anniversary, file I-751.

5. until   you get a 10 year green card with your correct name and correct details, except to make annual phone calls to USCIS to get an I-551 stamp.

I would :

1. Call USCIS or use online EMMA for live chat. Ask specifically for them to verify the name on card being produced.. and indicate the notice u just received has Petitioners name.

2. If phone not helpful ask them to schedule an INFO PASS immediately and go : they  need to correct database ..this is not a little typo , rather a WHOLE other person!
