Yes you can apply for EAD and should have done that at the time of filing.  You still can. Include a copy of the I-485 receipt with I-765. Did you file I-131 too?

If you were a K1 (you posted this in a K1 forum), an I130 is not needed.

Pleases fill up your timeline as required for membership.

In another thread about 10 minutes before you asked this question,  you said "I would like my future mother in law to come for our wedding"  How did you file the I-130 and an I-485 if you aren't married yet?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

We are married. We are having the big wedding later this year so I stand corrected: my mother in law!

I'm curious.  Did you use an attorney or service when you filed the adjustment of status package?
