You should be getting the approval anytime soon.  You are almost there per USCIS case enquiry timeline as you know.  Eithercase just fillup the enquiry form once you are eligible.  The reply does not come sooner than expected..  but I do believe your approval is very soon

I am leaving June 4 to go back and visit my husband so I am hoping I get the approval before I go to visit. At least we will be one more step closer in the process

Hello everyone. My case will be outside normal processing time next week and I wanted to get some advice from you all. How long after your case is outside normal processing time do you think it takes to get approved? I know I still have to be patient but I am hoping it will not be long after. Any advice is appreciated

The times reported as processing time are already old by the time it is reported.

I would make an inquiry the very first day I'm able to.

Also keep in mind that those dates change. Sometimes for the better, other times for the worse.

It has been known that an inquiry when a petition was out of status gets a response that it is in status if the dates changed on the site

Okay I can make an inquiry I believe next Wednesday. Right now my status has been “case is an actively reviewed” since Sept 22 2021. So hopefully by me making an inquiry that will push them to approve it soon

I am hoping I do not have to wait much longer. I am on day 220 of actively review and it has been 8 months. I’m at California Service Center and can inquire next week. I am hoping by the end of June or July at the latest that it gets approved

Hello everyone. Just wondering what is the estimated timing on how long the total I-130 process will take? I’ve already been waiting 8 months for my petition to get approved and it should be soon but just wondering about the total process as a whole

You can check on USCIS processing time. So many variables. Depend on ur service center and believe it or not luck. It can be months it can be Over than a year. 16 months no news for me

Oh wow. My processing center is California and I will be able to make an inquiry next week because I will be outside normal processing time. But I saw on here that most people say the total process usually takes 2 years at the most

Once your petition is approved, the process requires further input from you, so the total time depends partly on you and partly on the interview backlog at the YOUR assigned Consulate.  There is reason to both hope and believe that backlogs will clear and timelines will shorten, but no guarantees ever.

I think the backlog at the Dominican Republic Consulate is 2-4 months as of right now so hopefully the process will move quickly.

Active review does not mean what you think it does.  I-130 cases average less than 30 minutes of actual review by a human, before a decision is made.  Your case is more like "available to be reviewed".

But once outside normal processing times once you send an inquiry that should help to get their attention to hopefully look at it correct?
