Hello, My parents-in-law are from Pakistan. My father in law's birth certificate was issued a few decades ago in Urdu by the local union council and we noticed that the words were fading. As a result, we got were issued a new birth certificate by the local union council in English because since last few years the local union council has stopped issuing birth certificate in Urdu. My question is that should we submit both versions English and Urdu to NVC? If we only send English one are we going to get RFE? On the other hand My Mother in law has a late registered Birth certificate and it is in English also issued by local union council and it has her married name on it instead of maiden name. Is NVC going to accept that? Are we going to get an RFE from NVC? She does not have any school certificate since she has never gone to school. Her parents died a few years ago. If we get an affidavit from her siblings and cousins is NVC going to accept those? Her siblings and cousins are just a few years older than her. We are in a weird and puzzled situation. They have Nadra family registration certificate if we send Nadra family registration certificate along with their Birth certificates issued in English are they going to be accepted by NVC? We cannot afford a lawyer, please assist us.

Thank you. Mother in law, birth registered late and the birth certificate is only in English and her birth certificate has her married name instead maiden name is that going to create a problem? Do you think we might need to include two affidavits in her case, but the problem is that her parents and few close elder relatives died few years ago and her elder siblings and cousins are just a few years older than her can they write an affidavit for her? is that going to be accepted by NVC?
