If i follow your advice then maybe i should wait for10 years to apply instead of 3y to be "sure" the IO does it right. After all, the law is just a "guide" not a strict, serios rule.

Thank you again, but this is not my case. I have not moved. I ve been at this address from the beginning of my journey. So that post does not apply to me.

 

A holiday for 2.5 months outside the US and returning to the same address does not mean I  changed my residency.

Then why are you even here asking? You have clearly already made up your mind and just argue with the people giving you advice. Go ahead and do what you want.

Are you for real ? I made up my mind ? Are we still governed by laws ? Do you have access to USCIS's manual on their website ? If you don't, PM me and i ll send u a copy.

So see the popular opinion.  So far i am sad of what i ve found.

Luckily we have laws and a manual where it is written black on white how things are.
