Approved for naturalization, how long does oath ceremony take ?

My husband had his interview yesterday, a combined one - i751 and n400. After some questions being asked to both of us about i751 he was then asked to take the naturalization test. He passed.

I know it says approved  on the paper they handed us yesterday but online it says it takes a a bit longer because they do background checks. Right now his status says  “interview was scheduled”. Will the status change soon? How long would it take?

Wow, your timeline is very different from my husband’s! He applied for his N-400 in March 2021 and only today received the update that they are actively reviewing it. Maybe it’s a different field office? We’re in Los Angeles, which one are you working with?

Woah that’s taking a while. I’m with Chicago.
