This is soo crazy. Tier -2 agent said , file was transferred to NBC and then transferred back to California service center. All this happened in just 2 days. Don’t know why they do it, transfer to NBC and then back to California for just 1 day .

Maybe internal thing where it go transfered but it seems like its at your local office now

Don’t know if it’s sort some error on USCIS system because (unless it gets transferred to local office Eventually- NBC to local office) there is no real logic/sense behind this multiple transfers in span of few hours.

Got a physical letter from USCIS stating below “we have completed a preliminary review of your application. As part of standard processing, we transferred your case to the USCIS office listed below that has jurisdiction over your case.

National benefits center , Lee’s summit.

letter dated 6/17 , but on 6/18, I got another update via online tool that case got moved again. Anyway I have filed for N-400 as well two months ago , so hope this is not going for dreaded combo interview.

After having noticed several people getting transfer notices, and having been told by a Tier 1 agent that our case had been transferred, we inquired again with a Tier 1 agent about why we have not received a transfer notice. Frustratingly enough, the agent has said there has been no transfer and the case is still at SRC.

What is also frustrating is that all cases that haven't been transferred around us have been approved.

That's our update for now! Good luck everyone.

Hello, our dates are almost same .my NOA date is 5/8/2019 and completed bio metrics on 2nd dec. after a 6 months of quietness, I received a transfer update last week that my case has been transferred to NBC (letter received yesterday). I applied for N-400 in April, so don’t know why they transferred my I-751 to NBC, potentially combining both for combo interview .

Hello,

We also applied for N-400 in late May, but apparently we haven't even been transferred to NBC for a combo interview (which I'm hoping ROC gets approved while we wait). I'm afraid that we'll see no movement before the furloughs at which time I'll drop all expectations for any approval for quite some time.

I just Spoke to agent and she said , my application is going for combo interview because of N-400 and she see that biometrics for N-400 is already requested. Since ASC are closed no notice has been sent . They were supposed to be reopened today but again postponed. I hope you receive the update soon. Combo’s are painful I think.  For furloughs I still believe federal govt would bailout the package as they don’t want 13000+ employees to be unemployed during election year.

I certainly hope they get a bailout. I've contacted one Senator and our congressperson about how a lack of bailout would affect us personally as well as millions of others.

That's nice to hear that you have some movement on your case though. Hopefully the combo interview isn't too painful for you!
