(Lin) here and just got a Biometrics appointment for the 24th of October. I filled on may 23rd 2019.

NOA1: 10th May 2016                                                                     NOA1: 2nd December 2016                                         1-751 Received: 20th May 2019

NOA2: 14th July 2016                                                                     Biometrics: 19th December 2016                                NOA1: 23rd May 2019

Case sent to embassy: 3rd August 2016                                     I-485 RFIE: 12th December 2016                                 Biometrics: 24th October 2019

Medical: 11th August 2016                                                             EAD/AP Approved: 9th March 2017                           Approved: 21st April 2020

Interview: 12th September 2016 - Approved! :dancing:                     Green Card Approved: 8th August, 2017

Visa in Hand: 24th September 2016

POE Denver: 10th October 2016.

10/29/2016 biometrics letter recried

11/02/2016 case status updated to requset for initial evidence mailed

11/10/2016 biometrics appointment

11/26/2016 Sent the response for RFE

11/30/2016 status updated to response for evidence received

01/12/2017 ead approved and new card is ordered

01/18/2017  statua shows ead card mailed

I'm a LIN filer as well...I got a biometrics appointment notice in the mail yesterday...it's scheduled in about two weeks. 

 

Fingers crossed everyone gets some good news this month! 

EAD/AP: 02/14/17 - 05/26/17 (101 days)

AOS: 02/14/17 - 06/20/17 (126 days)

ROC: 05/19/19 - 04/23/20 (340 days)

 

N-400: (249 days)

9/13/2020- Application filed online 

9/21/2020 - NOA1 received 

12/10/2020 - NOA2 biometrics reuse

2/2/2021 - NOA3 N-400 interview scheduled for 3/16/2021

3/8/2021 - NOA4 N-400 interview cancelled 

3/15/2021 - NOA5 N-400 interview re-scheduled 

4/27/2021 - Interview (approved)

4/28/2021 NOA6 Oath ceremony scheduled

YSC#. I got my biometrics appointment in mail on Saturday, scheduled for Oct 24 as well. (Filed early June) is there any other YSC# here as I haven't seen very many in June.

You can reschedule your appointment. There should be a box on the appointment letter you can check off, and then you send the letter back to USCIS to reschedule.

Not sure about the walk-ins.

Yeah I don't think missing my bio100 class is justified enough of a reason to reschedule.

You have to justify it now? I rescheduled my bio appointment for my adjustment of status and the reason was that my spouse didn't want to miss a meeting at work. Don't remember having to state a reason. Is this new?

Im not sure I just assumed they would ask you why you couldn't make it. Not going to lie and say funeral or anything. Ive heard of people being out of the country on vacation and not being able to make the appointment and making up some excuse.
