Does anyone know what happens after USCIS completes its fingerprint review? Do people still get RFE? If fingerprint review is the last step, any patterns/ideas on how long it might take for CR-6 cases to be approved?

Fingerprint review is definitely not the last step. It all depends on where your case is being processed. You can definitely get RFEs after your fingerprint review is completed. You can search immigration timelines to check for other members' processing times. Also helpful if you update your timeline.

When my wife checked her case last week it said “Fingerprint Review Was Completed” and she did not have a biometrics appointment as well.

Today she had received a USCIS letter in the mail. USCIS stated that they are able to reuse her previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics so no biometric appointment is necessary.

Hope this helps!

Our thanks to your reply. It does clear up confusion on our end as we have not yet received any correspondence from USCIS since the extension letter. Glad to hear that y'all are also having some progress in y'all's case.

Good luck!

Harold

My wife and I were very worried at first because lots of people that filed after us already had their biometrics done.

I am glad the USCIS is able to use the previous fingerprints and other informations.

My advice to you is just be patient. Lots of waiting game.....

Good luck to you!

Any of y’all had to renew your drivers license yet? If so, how long did yours get renewed for, 18months or longer?

I did and got only 18 mos extension but really had no trouble at the DMV.
