Like I said, if they didn't want people to submit enquiries this early on that yes, need to be handled by a person, they would set it up for the enquiry submission to be denied. If they are open to having people submit enquiries, then how is that the fault of the person submitting it?
They aren't getting enquiries from every single person waiting on their RoC. I get where you're coming from, but ultimately nothing wrong is being done? It's not like they're pestering the CS line every couple of hours or submitting enquiries nonstop.
I just don't feel like there's a need to be so rude.

Thank you, and for the record the person i spoke to said that submitting an enquiry was exactly what I should have done because I, like many of us still waiting, should have gotten our biometrics letter within 30 days of filing.  She was about to submit one on my behalf when she noticed I submitted one a few days prior.  My update was to encourage whomever was still waiting and was anxious to submit an enquiry if they are nearing or over the two month mark as I am.  Im not sure who may be willing to sit and wait for their immigration paperwork to just “come around” but I certainly am not one of them, mine and my husband and my infant daughter’s future depend on it.  Thank you very much.

It is because 1st they have a script and most applications get bio within 30 days. However, the ROC has been hit and miss.

if you look around the forum people haven’t been getting their bio notice until 7-12 months after filling.

I understand how you feel. I am nervously waiting for my biometrics notice as well and it has been more than a month since my NOA, I keep checking the mail a few times everyday. Thank you for your updates so people who are in the same situation (like me) know what next steps to take. I think I will call them if by the end of this month there is still no notice.

I just thought I'd pop back in here to update:  I still have not received my biometrics appt letter after receiving my NOA1 since the end of May (it was dated 5/22).

I called USCIS yesterday after a long 50 min wait - the lady who answered looked into it and said that we should be getting our Biometrics Letter within 30 days after the NOA1.  In my case specifically, she was able to check and see that apparently my biometrics appointment has not even been scheduled yet, for some reason.

I did submit a case inquiry online a week ago and she saw that, so she said its been registered on the system and I should be getting an email by the first week of August about next steps.  She said they would not be sending my biometrics info over the email but it should be a correspondence that says a biometric letter has been or will be sent.

Again, not much new information there but it was comforting speaking to someone about it.  She was actually able to tell me that its not that anything was lost in the mail - its just that for some reason it has not been scheduled - and I suspect that for many of us at SRC that may be the case.  If anything else changes I will let all know.

I still haven’t receive a biometric appointment letter yet. My NOA1 date is 5/10/2019, SRC - TSC. Does anyone receive the biometric letter or have any update? I’m so worried ☹️

Thanks!

As said many times before, you need to calm down about the biometrics. Calling USCIS is not going to give you any good answers, it's called the misinformation line for a reason. There is no "should have had your biometrics notice within 30 days", they just pull stuff out of their butts and people actually believe it. Some will receive their biometrics early on, some will wait for months and even over a year.

They will send your bio letter when they need your fingerprints, so calm down. The majority of the ROC cases in this very thread will take way over a year before anyone even looks at the cases, so why do you think USCIS needs your fingerprints now? They don't, they just need them right before they make a decision. Which I said is a long time from now for most of us.

Tons and tons of September, October, November and December 2018 filers haven't even had their biometrics taken yet, you guys filed in MAY 2019.

I'm just at a loss as to what VJ has become.  When we filed for my K1 visa three yrs ago this forum was such a community.  In our monthly filers thread we tried to understand each other, looked forward to updates so we could figure out our own next move, and cheered every breakthrough someone made.  By the time I had my visa in hand I had gained a family in those people who were a part of that thread.  I remember them well, and we even kept in touch for some months after.  Everyone got split up because everyone's weddings were scattered across different times and then everyone filed for AOS at different times but, I miss the community we shared here on VJ.

Nobody ever came in the forum demanding that people "calm down", nobody came in here trying to tell anyone else how to feel about their own case, the outcome of which can change the future for themselves or their families.

I really miss how we used to be.  Honestly this makes me very sad.  But if I have updates I will continue to share because I know that updates like mine help the people who lurk for years and never say anything but they need the help and they need the breakthrough that can help their case move along.  Posting this with love always.

You're getting useful information, not a beat down. Use that information to feel better about your situation, use that information to realize you're not in a bad situation at all and that it's perfectly normal.

Folks, this infernal immigration process would try the patience of Job.  Those of us who are finished with it still remember the frustrations and horrors of the various phases where we got hung up or hosed.  Please remain respectful of the tension that everyone here is feeling, and make extra efforts to be supportive.  Thanks.

Can you please review the above exchanges?  If mine are in violation please remove them - thank you!
