@Ghalebfa I was looking around previous months for SRC and there are other members still in the same boat as you with the scheduling of biometrics. Its hard to sit tight and wait but i guess that is all we can do for now.

It never does. It should update AFTER you have had your biometrics taken, but the online status thingy is glitchy, so don't expect too much.

Understood. I was just under the impression that is would update because in my previous experience with other forms, my case did update when the biometrics was scheduled. But after looking through all these posts i did not come across anyone that said it updated online.

Hi May Filers. I am gonna be a June filer and still in the process of  getting my package ready. Hopefully I can send it this week. I figured I should ask you guys since you’re already done with sending your packages.

My question is what/how should I write or type on the envelope/box. I’m going to mail it through USPS probably a flat rate box. I know I should write the USCIS P.O. Box address (Arizona) and my name and address (return address) but I’m wondering if I still need to include ( I-751 original submission with my name)?

Thank you in advance.

I only wrote the regular "from" and my name and address so it would be sent back to me in case there was an issue with delivery

Then obviously "to", the AZ address.

And then I added "Contains Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence" underneath the addresses.

The content fit perfectly in a USPS priority box. No signature but obviously tracking.

Will do the same thing. Thank you Scandi. You’ve been very helpful since AOS process.

Is there a reason NOT to bring your greencard?

I brought both, my DL and my GC.

Just to confirm if they really need the green card or not, i gave the receptionist my DL and she didn't ask me for my green card. So now I know.

Done with biometrics.

Yesterday went in to the Application Service Center around 9:50 am. Appointment for 10 am. A lot of people in there. Had to wait in a long line to get the number. Showed the receptionist my appointment letter and my drivers license. She gave me a form to fill up and didn't ask for my Green card. Around 10:45-10:50 came my number.

The guy took my photo first and then fingerprints. Told me to relax my shoulder and arm. Asked me if I am from India lol.

There were a lot of Indians, Hispanics and Africans in the hall. Overall took an hour to complete.

Yeah you should always bring your greencard to anything immigration related. In fact, the law says you have to bring it everywhere you go. Everywhere. One day they will require it and you want to be prepared.

Also, for biometrics you need your A-number when you fill out the form. Most people don't know their number so bringing the greencard is good for that reason too as the A-number is on it.

We just got the reminder letter in the mail from USCIS. My wife and I have started  preparing my I- 751. We have a shoe box full of evidence already.

My 90 day window opens in 2 weeks so I’ll be a May filer. How early are people sending there app? My date will be the 16th of May so I’m gonna send it on that date so they don’t reject it.

So excited to be dealing with USCIS again.

Do I need to order tax record transcript on IRS website to submit with I751?

If so, which type do I order?

Do I need W2s? even though our address differs?

1040s are ready to go!

I would send "Return Transcripts"....from the IRS.  They are records of what was actually received by the IRS.
