CR1 = N = New arrival

CR6 = A = Adjustment (under Sec. 245) to immigrant (legal permanent resident) status.

 

My wife is a CF1 and we did not get an interview for AOS.  However, we did have an interview at the Embassy as part of the K1 Visa.  Furthermore, I know several K1 Visa applicants that did not have interviews at AOS or ROC.

 

IMHO those given interviews are more likely to be related to lack of evidence or those unlucky people that have randomly been selected for interviews rather than what type of Visa Code they have.  However, I can't confirm this, just my opinion.

Sent mine USPS with no signature.  Arrived safely and was processed that day.

thank you, i didnt file G-1145 (bummer). I mailed it to the Dallas lock box. I called USCIS yesterday and the agent told me that it can take up to 30 days to get the receipt in the mail. He confirmed my address was correct etc.. He ended up giving me my EAC number over the phone. I tried to add it to my case status on the website but it wont take it.. get the following error:

So still not received anything in the mail. I called USCIS to verify again and the my receipt number they gave me is correct. I am still not able to add it to my case status page. The agent on the phone said its not ready to be added to that page yet and that it might be too soon. How soon were you guys able to add your case to the mystatus page. ? Lastly, the agent told me to use the uscis tools page to fill an application to resend the NOA in the mail, which i have done. hopefully ill get it second time around. I have till july 27th till my card expires, hoping to sort it before then. Do you think i can re-enter with an expired GC and a reciept number or do i need the actually extension letter?

No, wait until you receive you the NOA you need have that if you're travelling. I wouldn't risk it with just the receipt number. Hopefully, you should receive something in the mail this week.

It never does. It should update AFTER you have had your biometrics taken, but the online status thingy is glitchy, so don't expect too much.

I was hoping it did so I knew when I should expect the biometrics to arrive. I always worry about mail getting lost.

Hi everyone. Have my biometrics appointment in less than 2 hours. Just wanted to confirm if I need to just take my NOA letter and drivers license or green card as well? 

The letter says only “naturalized applicants” need to bring their green card with them. I’m still not sure though.

USCIS Dallas TX received my I 751 May 6th, 

i received receipt number one week after they received my application .

It’s been 6 weeks now and I didn’t receive biometric appointment yet ..

is everything ok with me?

So your receipt number starts with a TSC or SRC? Maybe the service center is behind?
