So do you have a TSC OR EAC receipt number? On a earlier post you said you had a TSC receipt number.

People don't understand that they send their packages to a lockbox, they think they send them to a Service Center. So when sent to the Dallas lockbox they somehow believe that's the Texas Service Center.

They also seem to think that their cases are transferred between TSC and whichever service center that shows on the NOA1. They don't understand that their cases are only at a lockbox facility and are being routed (not transferred) to the service center they were assigned to.

To clarify -- My post did not say that I had a TSC receipt number. Just that I sent my package/applied to the Dallas Texas lockbox, which I may have (mistakenly) referred to as TSC.

Don't resubmit until you receive your package back in your mailbox. If it does get rejected there will be a paper inside letting you know WHY it was rejected, you don't want to send another package with the same issue that will just get rejected too.

There's still a chance they will accept your application, so just wait.

They cashed my check yesterday and text notification was sent today so I'm assuming the NOA1 letter will be coming this week.

Thanks for telling me to wait! I was getting antsy.

In case anyone else is in a similar situation, this is my timeline:

5/23: Submitted I-751 package

5/25: Package was received/delivered at Phoenix PO Box

6/11: Check was cashed

6/12: Text notification received

That's 11 business days (with 5/27 being a holiday) between my package being received and check being cashed, which seems longer than average, but I'm just happy it was accepted regardless how long it took.

My packaged was delievered on May 9th and check was cashed on May 16th. I have not heard anything since.. is this normal? Also, it looks like people get a text notification. I am not sure how to sign up for that?

if you haven't filed the form G-1145, E-Notification at the time of filing you will not receive any text communication.I don't think there is an option to submit it now you will have to wait for the mail. Also, where did you send your package?

thank you, i didnt file G-1145 (bummer). I mailed it to the Dallas lock box. I called USCIS yesterday and the agent told me that it can take up to 30 days to get the receipt in the mail. He confirmed my address was correct etc.. He ended up giving me my EAC number over the phone. I tried to add it to my case status on the website but it wont take it.. get the following error:

Yes, WAC here too and case shows on the new page. The old one usually only shows after biometrics have been done - which can take months or even over a year. So no need to worry about not getting an appointment yet, it's still VERY early in the process.

My spouse's case status showed up on the old USCIS website immediately with his EACXXXXXX receipt number. Is that common for other Vermont Service Center/EAC folks?

Hello guys, I am not a May filer but will be filing my ROC this August. Just a Q, what did you guys use to send your package. I noticed that if I send thru express USPS it would be a PO Box. Is someone going to sign it there? Thank you!

Hi:

I sent my package using USPS Priority mail and it arrived in 2 days. When filing just be careful with the addresses. If you use USPS it goes to one address and if you are sending UPS or Fedex then there is another address for it. Overnight I feel is too much money. Priority gets there fast and its half the price in some cases.

Very true, and there's no reason to send it overnight in the first place. It won't make a difference whatsoever if your package arrives one day later with priority, compared to the overnight one, unless you file REALLY late in your 90 day window. Overnight is just much more pricey, like you said, and does absolutely nothing for your ROC process.

Hi!

I checked my case on the USCIS website using my receipt number and the status is "Fingerprint Review Was Completed". My husband hasn't had his biometrics appointment yet and we didn't get a letter stating one was scheduled.

Since he had a biometrics appointment already this year (back in February), are they just using that instead and there's no need to go for another one?

We're leaving for vacation in a month so it would be very helpful if that was the case. Anyone else have that happen?
