I-175 May 2019 Filers

So relieved to get a notification. My case went to Vermont (EAC) my PR card is a CR6 not sure whether or not that makes a difference or not. Here is my timeline:

*90 window opened 5/30/2019

 

5/29/2019 - shipped via Fedex overnight

5/30/2019 - Delivered to Lewisville TX

6/4/2019 - Received text notification about case

Just got a text notice with LIN receipt#. I am CR6 and had my interview during I-485. Perhaps why I got LIN#. If the predictions are true, no interview for me! Hope it goes fast..for all of us!

May 28/2019: Package Received

June 03/2019: Text notification received! (yeyy!!)

June 04/2019: NOA received in the Mail (That was FAST!)

 

Now the real wait starts.... let's see how this unfolds....

Good luck May 2019 filers. I remembered I sent my I-751 2 years ago during this month with 5 inches thick evidences. LOL!

Wow that is fast...I wonder if there was some kind of text delay and they ended up sending the NOA end of last week and coincidentally the notifications arrived back to back.🤔

If you have strong evidence then you should not be called for an interview. 

During my year, the interview is randomly picked, and if the applicant doesn't have enough evidences then there's a big chance for an interview, to add some waiver applicants also have a big chance of interview. 

I believe if you have a huge amount of evidences then interview wont be necessary. If this news is true then backlogs for all applications will be trending down and processing will take years.

I know it certainly wasn't common at the time to not have an interview, but that it definitely wasn't super uncommon either.
My AoS package was pretty sizeable though so maybe that helped?

Not having an interview for AOS wasn't a bad thing, specially if you provided decent sizable of evidences. If you will do the same for I-751 then chances of getting an interview would be impossible.

I saw some VJ members here don't have interview for their AOS and I-751, the interview still on the IO discretion, if the IO think you have strong evidences then interview wont be necessary.

Now, this is during my year, not sure if this  year would still be the same. Good luck!

My I-751 was decently sized and I feel like it had a lot of evidence, but I wouldn't be surprised nor upset if I did end up with an interview, so either way it doesn't really bother me.
I'm honestly just looking forward to all of it being done and dusted!

You will surely get there. I can see some of the I-751 filers getting interview in less than 6 months. When I did my I-751 2 years ago,  took me 13 months before I got the approval. 

I guess processing of I-751 is now faster nowadays.

NBC is the service centers that prepares interviews, that is MSC, not LIN. That's why all AOS are sent to NBC, as the majority of AOS cases need interviews. In case of an interview, a LIN case could be transferred to NBC later on.

Why do you say its faster now? the processing time still shows an avg of 2 years for most service centers? I am just curious!

So if every case goes to NBC, there's no telling whether you will be called for interview or not based off of your receipt# service center!! 

 

Do you think the case will be sent to NBC after it is assigned a service center? for eg. I got LIN# to begin with!
