I didn't have an interview for my AoS, so I wonder if that means I'm more likely to have an interview for the I-751?
I know it's case by case dependent, but I'm curious as to whether people who didn't have interviews for their AoS have had guaranteed interviews for RoC in the past.

An immigration lawyer i had spoken to in Sep 2018 said that every case was getting interviewed. After this notice in Dec 2018, I believe cases are being evaluated like they were before Trump's administration. It's hard to say who is going to be called for an interview and who is not. If you have strong evidence then you should not be called for an interview.

What date was it delivered on? If you don't hear anything are you just going to re-file?

I'll most likely give it a couple of weeks before I re-file.

I hope it doesn't come down to that.

I'm amazed you didn't have an interview for your i485.

Not sure if that's a bad thing?
I know it certainly wasn't common at the time to not have an interview, but that it definitely wasn't super uncommon either.
My AoS package was pretty sizeable though so maybe that helped?

Another user set me straight. It was just an assumption that everyone gets interviewed for the green card.

Got notification that application was accepted this time and cc was charged. Our case was sent to Vermont service center. Is it location based? Also can't see the notification on uscis app, it says case # not found. Do i have to wait a bit for it to come up online?

Guys,

There's been a lot of guessing over which receipts mean interviews or not. I do not believe that everyone that gets LIN or MSC will get an interview.  The latest news on interviews is that if you were interviewed before, then the officer may consider to wave the interview on case to case basis.  We were interviewed when I applied for change of status ( I 485). So I am guessing we might be eligible for interview waiver if our evidence is sufficient to prove bona fide marriage.

https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-revises-interview-waiver-guidance-form-i-751

You say yourself in your post that people who haven't been interviewed inside the US before might get interviews for their i-751 instead:

Cases sent to MSC are largely people who arrived in the US on a CR-1 visa, if you check the last few months i-751 filers you'll see this. As you know, those people have never been interviewed inside the US as they already received their conditional greencards when entering the country. So yes, there's definitely some truth to most MSC cases look to be getting interviews for their i-751 petitions. For the rest of us I bet it's random to a certain degree, just like the AOS interviews were.

Use the new site. The old site usually starts working after you have been to your biometrics appointment (which can take anything from a few weeks up to over a year after filing).

What is the link to the new site ? I tried my uscis too but it says the same thing.  The email they sent just noticed it said to wait until receiving noa1 in the mail to check the status online :
