My package was received on May 9 and I received the NOA on may 16 I forgot to include a form for notification so I can’t track my case my receipt number isn’t working on the website or the app how can I fix that should I file the notification form and send it with a letter explaining everything?

Looks like even I forgot to include the form for notification didn't know it was a requirement to get the notifications.

I have been kind of lurking on your issue. Something may be amiss. Sure, there has been some extenuating circumstances, i.e., holiday, etc, since they received your package in mid-May. Maybe trying to track the chain of custody of the package may yield something? Do you know the name of the person that signed for your package at the Texas lockbox facility upon delivery (assuming delivery confirmation requested)?

This has got to be maddening for you!!!

Confirm that they accepted receipt of the package, with delivery details from the shipper. Try contact with a Tier 1 rep with delivery details and timing. Then if nothing comes from that, suggest that you contact CISOMB, https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman , for assistance in finding your package that is apparently lost in their custody.

You are wise to follow the money trail, the check has yet to be cashed?

Depending on where you are in your 90 way ROC petition acceptance window, try to hang tough and see what happens with the ombudsman. If not, cancel, stop payment, etc., and refile anew.

Post back with new, good info.....

Thank you very much for caring about my case . The thing is I sent the package USPS priority mail, not express so I only have the tracking number and it shows as Delivered , there is no name of the person who signed for it as it is only priority mail. that is also my mistake as well, I should have sent it Express with signature required :(

I keep an eye on my bank account everyday but the check is not cashed either.

Right now all I can do is waiting and I will give them a call next week.

Thank you again for all your concerns and advice. I do appreciate it . I will sure keep you guys updates if I have any news

I see no reason for them to implement a LIFO policy.  In fact, it is blatantly unfair, to say the least.....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I have heard rumors of this LIFO policy....but I can't image why they are doing it.......but, yea, I have dreams that my wife will get a combo interview immediately after becoming eligible for citizenship....we'll see...LOL.

Very normal, some only get their appointment a year or more after filing. USCIS have no use for your fingerprints right now, they won't pick up your case anytime soon to start go through it. Once they do, a long time from now, they need your fingerprints unless they can reuse the old ones.

Thank you, that is good to know!

Btw I remember you from the December 2017 filers :)))

My case number wasn't working at first. I created a different account under https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and it worked there. It is now working in both places as well as the app on my phone.
