Thank you. I am just so stressed but there is nothing I can do. If I call next week and they still say nothing in the system yet and cannot help, I don't know what is the proper next step I should take ... :( Should I cancel the check and send another package?

I was thinking the same.......but it is probably too early.......It certainly seems like a rejected case since you know it was delivered......I think you'll received the returned package within a couple weeks.....

It was about 3 weeks from the time we mailed my wife’s packet til she did her biometric.

The biometric appt letter came a few days after the 797/LOE.

I have been kind of lurking on your issue. Something may be amiss. Sure, there has been some extenuating circumstances, i.e., holiday, etc, since they received your package in mid-May. Maybe trying to track the chain of custody of the package may yield something? Do you know the name of the person that signed for your package at the Texas lockbox facility upon delivery (assuming delivery confirmation requested)?

This has got to be maddening for you!!!

Confirm that they accepted receipt of the package, with delivery details from the shipper. Try contact with a Tier 1 rep with delivery details and timing. Then if nothing comes from that, suggest that you contact CISOMB, https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman , for assistance in finding your package that is apparently lost in their custody.

You are wise to follow the money trail, the check has yet to be cashed?

Depending on where you are in your 90 way ROC petition acceptance window, try to hang tough and see what happens with the ombudsman. If not, cancel, stop payment, etc., and refile anew.

Post back with new, good info.....

Thank you! It's been about 2 weeks since I got my 797 but I know things can be slow sometimes so I'll just hold out for another week or two and see what happens.

I sent mine to Arizona, they charged my card 2 days ago and still haven’t received my text. Probably just wait for the notice in the mail at this point.

Mine went to Lewisville, T.X. Do we have to include a separate form for notification?
