Got my i-551 stamp today. FYI it is a literal stamp on your passport, not like a printed visa. From entering the building to getting my passport stamped to getting out, took 40 minutes total. They are also following COVID precautions & protocols. At least that was relatively swift and efficient.

(Side note: A bit disappointed though they couldn't just mail those with overdue applications a temporary card/letter in the mail so we wouldn't have to waste our time traveling to said office...)

Anyway, the 2 people I spoke to kept hinting that it's likely that my i-751 and N-400 interview will be done at the same time... looks like that is the trend nowadays FYI...

Hi can I ask you what steps you took to get the appointment? Who you called? What did you ask for?

I called and explained my situation and they said someone would call back within 7 days but nothing yet! Agent was quite rude also

We got an interview notice for N400 for the city we just moved out of however, it was not going to be a combo interview so it would have basically been worthless. Contacting congresswoman today about this malarkey.

How can you be sure it wasn't going to be a combo interview though? Most people don't find out until they get there.

The agent on the phone told my wife it would not be a combo interview, though she could have been wrong. Either way, we put in a request to reschedule at the local office where we just moved.

We moved from Colorado to the East Coast, it's very far away and with covid going out of control we're not comfortable flying and I'm not driving cross country again lol. If it were a few hours away we would do that.

Definitely not counting on it as USCIS has proven to be a poorly managed entity built to dehumanize and demoralize (being a bit hyperbolic here but I'm thoroughly disgusted with their methodology).

Guys, who submitted service requests recently, what is the last 3 digits of your service request numbers? Not receipt number, but service request.

Is it your service center letters or your local field office letters? For example, SR111111111SRC ( means case still at service center) or SR11111111NYC ( means case in NY field office). But instead of NY it can be SFR ( San Francisco), BFL ( Buffalo) etc. Short version of field office.
thanks in advance!
