We called last week and our application is still at the NBC 15 months into the process. The USCIS site doesn't give accurate processing times. The CSR told us 13-27 months and couldn't tell when our app would be sent to the local office for the interview. This is out of control

27 months? How is that even possible if they give us 18 months Extension on our greencard while our I-751 is in processing? This is crazy. SMH

We were transferred to NBC with no notice given either via website or mail. At this point in time, functionally, we haven't had a status update since November 2019. I hate to be pessimistic, but it seems May 2019 saw a lot of people sort of skipped over. I cannot prove it, but it feels like that. Additionally, since my wife is from a country with the travel ban, I suspect her case is getting a little bit of a slow down, but again, I cannot prove it.

Hang in there y'all, this ride is like driving on a neglected highway.

Hello!

I sent out my package for the Removal of  conditions last year in May 2019, I received my 18 month extension within a week - I didn’t travel outside the US during my extension. I was just afraid to do so. In December 2019 I did my fingertips, I continue checking my case every 21st of the month and same status, “fingerprints have been updated to case.” This August 21st was my 3 years with my GC. Just this Sunday I created an account with USCIS to continue keeping track of my case. I made sure to check for updates via email and text messages.  I was beginning to become more anxious about it, since my 18 months were up this November! Just this Tuesday I received the email, there was an update on my case and there was a card being processed & yesterday finally, my case got approved! Thank god! I wish you all the best of luck, continue checking up on your case - keep in touch with your attorney and even get a second opinion! Don’t give up, I never did and I was very persistent!

WAC May filer.  case was received  on May 21, got my extension letter soon after.

No updates since. No notice for fingerprints either. Called USCIS and was told that they are reusing bio metric data from before. Could apply to my case but could not. Just wait for updates. :(

Anyone on the same boat? My extension letter expires in Jan, really getting worried.

Same situation here too. Just went to see if I could put in an inquiry since I'm at 16 months now but nope. I'm guessing I have to wait until the 20 month mark to do that? Either way, it's getting frustrating. I'm planning on doing my N400 before the October fee increase though.
