Folks,

Another EAC Case..

I know lot of us are sticking with the Case Numbers and checking on Cases filed closed to our case numbers and dates. It really doesnt matter, with the recent slow dowit is even more messed up. I would suggest if you are eligible apply for Citizenship, if you intent to apply for citizenship eventually.

The only option is keep fingers crossed and wait for few more months. Cheers

Hello everyone 👋
I guess we just have to be patient here, I called USCIS a few days ago to schedule an infopass appointment, however I was told they are not giving out any unless for emergencies. I told them my current visa I-751 was actually stamped on my passport and will expired next week, to which they replied, it’s okay just sit put and wait unless you are getting fired from your employer (which is not the case) 💁

I sent my package to WAC office On May 13 2019, didn’t get any RFE’s and had my biometrics taken on Jan 15. No updates since then. Stay positive everyone, we’re all in the same boat.

that sucks man. My I-751 expires in a few months and it’s linked to my driving license. So I won’t be able to drive if they don’t give me a stamp.

If you are not approved by the time your I-751 expires call to make an infopass appointment and request an I-551 stamp in your passport. even if USCIS offices are still closed, this should qualify as an emergency. However, don't expect them to let you in unless your driver's license and I-751 are 30 days from expiring.

I think we all got transferred to a new service center. No interview for us at AOS. I submitted a ton of paperwork at both AOS and ROC though.  Hahaha.  Hope it helps!

There has been absolutely no movement for everyone that was transferred on February 20th.  Hope they didn't loose that batch of files.

Yeah we are in the same boat, May 2019 EAC and then transferred to Potomac in February. No movement at all - what is going on at Potomac? I have reasons not to apply for citizenship just yet, so I am not even going to be doing the N400 combo.

Same, I am definitely not applying for citizenship at this time for personal reasons and honestly, I don’t think my mental sanity can handle going through it right now. I just want to be over with this, but it’s been a drag!

Hi everyone, here's my chat with USCIS on the chance it helps anyone...

Context: have a 2 yr greencard expired aug 2019, have i751 18 month extension letter, expiring feb 2021. applied i751 may 2019  (MSC receipt number) and still no interview.

Last update USCIS website: 09/13/2019 We completed our review of your fingerprints and are continuing to work on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

July 10 online chat responses from USCIS: At this time, USCIS will mail you a notice with instructions detailing whether you are required to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for biometrics collection.

That office will issue you a notice when a date and time become available. You can not request or schedule a biometrics appointment on your own behalf. The only thing you can do it continue to wait to receive the notice in the mail.

You were not issued a biometrics appointment. So you do not need one to be emailed to you. The usual policy is to requests a status update on biometrics within 30 days of receiving the receipt notice to ensure the status of the case.

At this time you are still waiting to be issued an appointment.

Hi all, we filed for removal of conditions last May, and had the biometrics done last July. It has been a year since we had any case update (the last one is biometrics have been received July 2019) just wondering when we should expect any movement.. I'm sure the timeline may be delayed even more now due to covid, but I no longer see an estimate for our case.

Approved! On 7/7/20. Received 5/28/19. LIN199048* We had one RFE that requested more information in general. Looking at the original submission, I can say it was warranted.

Congrats!

I received an email this morning from a person who is working on my case, she was asking to verified my mailing address to sent the I-551 she said she was doing the adjudication soon.
The email seemed legit, however I called back USCIS because I honestly never heard of them sending emails, they told me it was from them, so I proceeded to confirm the info requested and pray that my case will be resolved hopefully this or next week.
