In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

We just got the reminder letter in the mail from USCIS. My wife and I have started  preparing my I- 751. We have a shoe box full of evidence already.

My 90 day window opens in 2 weeks so I’ll be a May filer. How early are people sending there app? My date will be the 16th of May so I’m gonna send it on that date so they don’t reject it. 

So excited to be dealing with USCIS again.

That would be my advice. I would not send it before the 90 day (not 3 calendar months) window opens......A day or so won't make a difference.....unless it's early.

Hello everyone! Getting ready to file my petition this week! My window opens up tomorrow, plan on sending it out Monday at the latest! 
I'm about 95% done with mine considering I thought I was supposed to file last month (accidentally calculated the window out a month earlier. Mega facepalm moment there).
Just need to print out some extra things for my duplicate copy, and grab a few things to account for April that I can include and I'm pretty much good to go!

Definitely feeling a little nervous though - Whilst I think I have a decent amount of proof, things are sparse for 2017 since I had to send my greencard back once I received it due to a name error, and didn't get it until a year later.
Had a lot of trouble getting a bank account or my name on some things. Fingers crossed it'll all be fine though.

Just got in my bottom tab dividers from Amazon today. So tomorrow will be spent neatly organising everything!

Good Morning. 

 

According to my calculations, I will be filing sometime toward the end of May for my Husbands renewal.  My first questions is regarding my stepson. He doesn't have any conditions to remove from his visa and his is good for 10 years. Will I have to mention him anywhere on the 751 form or do I just focus on his dad (hubby)?

So I'm definitely a May Filer.  My attorney received my package April 29, and hopefully, she'll send it in the 2nd week of May.  I took the lazy way out.  Sent about 700 documents to my attorney and I let them sort, package, and send off the final product.  LOL

I highly recommend using USPS Priority Mail if sending to Dallas PO Box. 7 days after sending my wife's I-751, we received her extension letter.
