Green Card interview and Medical Report while pregnant

Hello My wife (came on K1) has her green card interview scheduled in a couple of weeks.

When she did her immigration medical as part of  the K1 visa interview process she was pregnant with our baby and she only took the tetanus vaccine per the doctors recommendation at that time. She subsequently came to usa on the K1 visa , we got married and she delivered the baby in USA.

Question- when we go for her GC interview are their chances that she might be asked to do the medical exam again and get form I-693 filled from the surgeon?

We want to be proactive and get the medical exam done if this might be required anyway...?

Thanks

She will get a Notice for new medical  ( for mandated COVID-19 vax) and it will tell to have it ready for the interview. , so don’t do a new medical until u get the interview letter. Wait times are unpredictable

Zero percent.

She completed what was required of her or was given a waiver due to pregnancy.

Inaccurate -- she was not given a waiver as it was not needed.  She came on a K-1, which encourages, but doesn't require, completion of all required vaccinations.  They ARE required to be completed in the US prior to/during the Adjustment of Status.  She will, at a minimum, need to get the missing vaccines and the I-693 filled out and properly signed.

False.

An officer should also never issue an RFE for additional vaccines if the applicant is no longer pregnant at the time of the adjudication of the adjustment of status. As long as the vaccination assessment was properly completed by the civil surgeon at the time of the examination, the vaccination assessment can be accepted. In other words, if a woman did not receive certain required vaccines because she was pregnant at the time of the medical examination, and the contraindication box is marked by the civil surgeon, the applicant is not required to get those vaccines later at the time of the adjudication.

What I am wondering about is that when we filed the AOS package we did not have any I-693 with it.. we only had one piece of paper we got from the doctor's office who did the medical exam before the K1 visa interview....

If they have not RFE the I-693 up until now , then don’t do new medicals . Printout the policy link sent by @K1visaHopefulin case your Officer indicates he wants a new one.

Good point. Thanks

I693 is not required for K1s who completed medical requirements like you.

Your DS3025 states so.

You won't get an RFE pre-interview anyways as medical documents aren't needed until sit down interview.

That refers to after interview in my copy and paste.

Got it.. so in case the officer asks for more vaccinations, I should be able to show the USCIS info from the above link.

Absolutely.

They should know it but it's always okay to give them a polite nudge.

The section you quoted applIes to an I-693 on which the physician has indicated that a vaccine was contra-indicated because of pregnancy.  IF that is what was indicated on the I-693, then no further action is needed.  However, in the case of a K-1 visa, the panel physician should not have marked it this way, as the vaccinations are not required for visa issuance -- it should have been indicated that the vaccinations would be completed, as needed and appropriate, in the US -- before AOS is completed (which likely would be after tbe baby was born).  It doesn't require a new medical, however -- just need to find a civil surgeon willing to complete and sign the vaccinations as complete.
