I have a case complete with NVC preprocessing. I received an email from NVC stating that my case is documentarily complete and in the queue for an Interview appointment abroad.

I tried accessing my case on CEAC to know its present status, but I received the following message:

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

What does this message indicate?

Case category: IB1 ( self-petition of US citizen)

Priority date: May 16, 2017

Country of changeability: Liberia

The message basically implies that your case is in the queue for an interview appointment. Once you're DQd, NVC no longer has any further processing to do on your case except for forwarding it to the consulate once the interview slot becomes available and informing the applicant of the interview date.

The point here is that others are accessing their accounts to know their case status. Why I do not have access to my account to know my case status?

"At NVC" is the status of your case.

When your case reaches the front of the queue for your consulate, NVC will schedule your interview and notify you (providing a visa number is available).

My case an immediate relative. Therefore visa number is available.

Someone in another group said that this happens at a time when NVC transfers the case to the consulate.

Was this an expedited case?  Normally, NVC would schedule the interview, notify you, then transfer the case to a consulate.  Good luck.

Where did you read that? That is incorrect.  It will say "In Transit" when sent to the consulate.

This is the point. How do I know when I don't have access to my CEAC account?

I did request expedite but I did not receive any result. Guess what, before getting an email from NVC's regular mailbox, I did receive an email from NVC congressional telling me that my case was documentarily qualified and this email was done as a reply to my request for expedited service.

Maybe at the point of my vase becoming complete, they accepted it for expeditious service.

There was a glitch in the system a couple weeks ago which caused some people to see that message.  Have you called NVC
