Hi everyone,

watching everyone proceeding is awesome, hopefully the wait becomes shorter and shorter.

Just a recap of mine.

Sent pkg: April 19th

NOA1's: April 20

Just did biometrics on May 24th and now I485 and I765 says actively being reviewed. I131 still says case received 😕

Quick question though: My biometrics were only for I485 and I765 not for I131. And the I131 status still says "Case Received". Does I131 not need biometrics?

I've seen elsewhere on here that biometrics aren't required for the I-131. You're in good company - our biometrics appointment also excluded the I-131.

Makes me feel at ease. Let's see how it goes.

Thank you!

  • 2 weeks later...

We sent my parents-in-law's application on April 27 and 29 which were received on May 2 and 4 respectively.

They had their biometrics on June 10 amd same day their I765 changed to card being produced and I 797 to that effect for EAD approval is already seen in both their online accounts.

Have they already received their EAD cards?

Yesterday (06/20) I was doing my usual daily check up on the USCIS website and, to my surprise, my i-765 was approved! My status changed to "my card is being produced"! 🎉🎉

What a great feeling! Hoping that everyone waiting can hear back soon 🙂

Can’t believe it. I can’t help but check our case status multiple times a day and all of a sudden, this evening, it updated to EAD card is being produced!! I’m so thrilled this portion of the journey seems to have been a speedy one. Now just need to receive the card and find that job! Wishing everyone else the same luck.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

today we went to the AOS interview, not that many people, maybe 15 appointments for 7am (some only couples/family, the others with attorney and others with attorney and interpreter)

waited in the main room for about 20mins - we had an interpreter - professional friend - not needed! the official spoke spanish and said there was no need - she was ready and waited with interpreter document without signature if something comes up..

He checked the information from the I129F stating all looked good - personal info and then same questions on the I485 - confirmed personal info

(when did you meet, when did you get married, any places we had been, checked our album, we have been to several countries, so I really think that helps from the beginning k1) - background questions, asked for some joint documents to keep, along with the marragie certificate

Make sure you take a copy of the DS-3025 - Vaccs document from k1 (good for 1yr - if not you have to take the other form) - he needed it because it was not in the system he said or maybe just wanted to make sure we were prepared

He stated within 2-3 weeks she should be getting the 2 year GC - 90 days before the expiration date to fill I751 -- either with interview or just getting the 10yr GC by mail

we asked about Travel and employment cards and he said they were trying to save time and money in some cases - with the temp GC there was no need for those and for the SSN (since we requested it on the i485 - to just go the SS office with the GC and they will have the information to provide one (that they should have all information)

Good luck everyone!

Congratulations!🎊
