We received an RFE on October 1 for the I-485 we filed and so far we haven't received any mail correspondence.  I hope it's not anything major but it does seem quick to get an RFE for AOS?  We were expecting a timeline of 12 months for processing anything.

My biometrics was on 6th of April and still nothing 😓

Receipt notice for AOS K1 NOA1 was on 7th March 🥴

Is anyone in the same timeline as me?

Placed a expedite request on Oct 3rd but no response so far. Called yesterday and representative was so rude and said once it’s pass 7 days they can’t do anything. Their answers are not reasonable.

I am a May filler and placed an EAD expedite the exact same day, still no response. KInd of funny, idk what to do based on your phone call experience with USCIS. Let me know if you get to know something. Kind of a struggle.

Just recieved an email advising that USCIS had taken action on our case.

Checked on myUSCIS and saw case approved as of 15 Oct!

 

Seattle FO - no interview or RFE!

Honestly, the speed was surprising to me. I had heard that the wait at Seattle FO was expected to be up to 2 years. 

 

I have updated my timeline - hope everyone else hears something soon too!

I just got email this morning from USCIS, so I emailed them back with my doctor’s letter. 
email did not included any instruction, I had to call my friend for advise who have been through the process.

Requested an expedite over the phone. Representative on the phone stated they would be reaching out via email or phone within seven business days for more information. No one ever reached out, but we got this email a few weeks after that initial call 😕

May filer here - we got the same response. I contacted a live representative through Emma today and they said that apparently this message indicates that the expedite request has been denied.

26th October I requested ( via Emma live chat ) an expedite and was given a ref number. Been checking MyUscis daily but nothing on there to indicate Expedite request.

 

Those of you who asked for expedite - how fast was the request noted on your MyUscis ?

 

Re the expedite - I asked for it for my EAD but I was wondering - when an applicant asks for an expedite, is it just the EAD they consider expediting or the AOS itself ?

It’s just for ur ead not aos.. no update since April 4th..

We've requested expedite for AP since we need to travel out of the country, this is the second request. But nothing so far.

I live in GA so my Field Office is Atlanta. Looks to be the most backlogged office.

 

Was at 80% in 20 months when I applied. Last month was up to 27.5 months.

 

Today it jumped to 30.5 months !

Same here filed in April and biometrics in May and no update since then. Need to travel out of the country so requested for AP expedite over phone twice but nothing so far.

Anyone know any other way to contact?
