Discrepancy in my NOA1?

I received my NOA1 via text on Monday, 04/04/2022 from USCIS. Today, I received my hard copy via USPS. I review my Form I-797C for any discrepancies. Everything is correct except for 1 item. My beneficiaryś first name is written as NINA on the form. In my I-129F application, I typed in as ¨NIÑA¨ with the Ñ like this with tilde on the top. Would this be a concerned in the future? Should I contact USCIS to have it corrected? If so how?

America uses the modern 26 letter Roman / Latin alphabet.  Which is also the international  standard for passports.  I have my doubts her visa and green card will have an Ñ and instead I expect there will be an N.

I moved it to the Process section because that’s where it fits. You should post in an appropriate forum section, not where ‘you would get more replies’; it will be moved anyway if it’s in a wrong section.

Thanks Mike E. I checked out all the links you attached, they were satisfying to read. Hopefully there will not be a conflict during her visa issuance. But I still would like to know how USCIS deal with this issue.

There won’t be. International standards for travel and immigration don’t use non Roman letters.

USCIS issues two types of travel cards: EAD/AP combo cards and green cards. These cards adhere to the standards I linked to.  A computer system scanning her card is not going to see accents and diacriticals. It is going to see an N.  
 

And by the way when an airline clerk scans her passport it is reading an N from her passport.

Don’t worry! Before marriage, i had letter Ć in my surname, and they printed it as letter C on my k1 visa. 🙂

Thanks for your comment. Its her first name (given name) that is in question here.
