For translation a birth certificate from Hindi to English. Do you know there is a requirement to include the original birth certificate in the translation pdf/document? I thought i read this somewhere, but i can't find it. Anyone know? Also does anyone have good experience using the translation company called, languex?

Yes, a copy of the original foreign-language document must be included with the certified translation.

Sorry, just to clarify, is it to be included in the translation document, or can it be seperate file? Does the original document also have to be stamped or signed by translation company.

The reason I'm asking is that my translation company (languex) just has a letter head on first page with statement they are certified to translate, and the second page is the translated document. The original document is not included in their pdf.

The copy of the original document must not be stamped or modified in any way by the translator.

I assume you're asking about translation of the beneficiary's birth certificate to be submitted to NVC?  If so, here's the actual instruction from NVC -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/civil-documents-faq.html#ivp6

Do I need to submit translations separately?

If you have a certified translation of your document, include a scan of the translation with the original (i.e. foreign language) document in a single file. Put the native-language document first, followed by the English translation.
