Geez the Chicago field office is crazy fast. Mine is in Phoenix! Which I hear is the slow one. Congrats to you! I hope it’s true!!

Those are not field offices, they're lockboxes.

Depends on the state you live in, actually.

USCIS changed the filing addresses recently.  I-485 applicants from some states should now send to Phoenix lockbox.

I sent all the papers for AOS last week. I just checked the status on the case numbers and it shows the EAD card was produced yesterday. I was thinking it took at least 6 months.

Every now and then USCIS manages to pull a rabbit out of their hat. Consider yourself lucky and do not think this will be the norm from USCIS. Congrats though!

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Pray it is what they say but be prepared in case someone just hit the wrong key. As normally nothing gets printed without biometrics.

Oh ok.

I filed for AOS, EAD and AP for my wife and her two kids. We received some of the electronic case numbers, but not all.

Contact USCIS they will give it to you. If you call, your wife must be present in the roon with you or they won't give you any info since it's her application.
