Hello. First time posting here so my apologies for any mistaken when asking my question.

Long story short, I filled for my Adjustment of Status in Sep/2017, received my Work Permit and January but only had my interview in Aug/2019. Received my Green Card shortly after. (yep, almost 2 years, what a joke)

In July 2021 I filled for Removal of Conditions. No changes in the portal. Status has been “case was received” since then.

My GC already expired but I received 2 extension letters. First is a 18 months extension and second is a 24 months (also received a letter saying I don’t need to do biometry again).

My Change of Status through marriage and the whole process was done by an Immigration Attorney. I’m still married.

Soon I will be able to apply for my citizenship. (Not hiring the attorney this time)

I do have a question. I will need to send a copy of my Green Card. But it’s expired. Will I be in trouble? Do I need to wait until I get the Removal of Conditions approved and receive the 10-year GC (god knows how long more it will take)? Or just send a copy of the expired GC with a copy of the extension letters is sufficient?

Thank you all in advance.

Your GC is not expired.  You have the extension letters, correct?

You can file for naturalization when you are eligible, even if your ROC has not yet been adjudicated.  They have been known to do the interview concurrently.

I would send copies, not originals.

Best of luck.
