Hi Everyone,

I'm just wondering who has received an RFE for their advanced parole application, and if so, what was it for?

I'm quite sure i filled in all of the forms correctly with the evidence required, yet i've just received this email (i guess the letter is on its way)

------------

On July 11, 2007, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence and/or information in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence and/or information requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the information and/or evidence requested, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something further from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service.

--------------------

Anyone else get one of these??

Thanks!

Now IM CONFUSED!!

I received another email this morning saying my evidence has been received - but i haven't sent anything in yet!!

--------

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On July 16, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Since I filed online - I'm wondering, if they've just processed the photo's i sent in after my application?!

If you file online you also need to send the supporting documents in the mail..... thats why it makes no sense to file online..... you will need to send the NOA1 from your I-485 then they should be able to process your AP....

Kez

Kez,

The only real benefit of e filing is:

1. proper submission of the basic form

2. receipt of payment

3. immediate issuance of a receipt number.

And all of the above are moot if you then fail to send the supporting documents or they go missing in the mail or fail to get put with your e-filed form at the service center.... as you are going to have to pay for mailing its better to keep it all together and mail in one envelope.... only forms I would e-file are ones where no supporting evidence is needed....
