Tax transcript for affidavit of support

Hi all!

I'm currently in the process of bringing my mother here from Germany and we're finally at the NVC stage. 

My husband will be co-sponsoring and I'm wondering something about the required tax transcripts: I've already gotten mine from the IRS website but since we're filing jointly does he need to get another one? The numbers will be the same so can we just use my transcript for both forms?

Is your husband a joint sponsor or a household member that is contributing to your ability to be the primary sponsor.  If the second one, I believe he fills out the I864a.  As to tax transcripts, yes, since you file jointly you can use the same transcripts, but I would submit copies with each form, you never know when USCIS will split up packages.

I agree with @Dashinka.  I would include a set of transcripts for EACH I-864.  Always leave no room for ambiguity when dealing with immigration authorities...LOL.

Thank you, that's what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure. I'll attach the transcript to both mine and my husband's form of course 🙂
