I have paid the MRV fee but when I am trying to book the appointment, I am getting the following error message and am not able to move ahead.

Not sure why asking to do the second payment. Anyone know why we need to pay the second payment or is this an error? and how to resolve this?

The receipt number entered, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX , is not a complete MRV fee payment. To schedule an appointment with this receipt number, please pay INR 14818.99 via the same method used for the original payment. It is extremely important to use the same receipt number when making the second payment.

@kumarnaveen Were you ever able to resolve this issue or does anyone else have any advice?

I ran into the same problem when applying for B2 (Polish embassy).

I paid the full amount of $160 x 2 people (1536.00 Poland zloty). But when trying to schedule an interview, it's giving me the below message that I still owe 31.35 zloty. Through the website, it only gives me an option to pay the full amount again, not this difference they are asking for.

The embassy support center has been no help so far.

Appreciate any advice!
