If you hear anything, make sure to update on this post. Maybe we will get ours done in similar time frames. I sent an inquiry too, on the Monday they closed I believe. Haven't heard back yet. I saw they are currently responding to inquiries from March. It feels like we have been left in the dust. I assume they received our cases and potentially made case numbers by now, but who knows. Hopefully soon.

My fiancé received an email today informing us that our case has been forwarded to the London embassy. That puts us at 46 days since NOA2 which isn't bad, just wish it hadn't been that many days in the dark! I imagine I'll get a response to my inquiry in a few months 😁

That's awesome! I'm so happy that you got a response, it sure took a while for them to get it though. I wonder if it's that they are getting a lot of cases from USCIS attempting to clear their backlogs or something like that. It shouldn't be too long for me then hopefully too :) I want to hopefully get this done as soon as possible before anything else like more backlogs from other crazy world events cause any issues lol.

Yeah that was my assumption too, which does make sense given that they shut off the phone lines (great timing!). If your NOA2 is one day after mine I can't imagine yours taking much longer

Tomorrow is 2 months since we received our NOA2 and STILL NO NEWS FROM NVC! I have read here that after the I129F is approved we have 4 months to schedule the interview and we are starting to get super worried because we just don't know where our paperwork is. Since we can't call NVC we left them a public inquiry but who knows when they will look at those, if at all? USCIS said they sent our case to NVC and can't help us. Same with the consulate in Kazakhstan - they said until we can provide them with a case number from NVC they can't do anything either.

Anyone else here has the same problem? What can/should we do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mine hasn't been 2 months just yet but almost 2 months in about 2 weeks. I'm just so lost and upset. Just when I thought I'd see my fiance again we are stuck back to the waiting game. I hope we hear something soon.

Does anyone know what dates are being processed at the NVC stage? Are we just supposed to wait for un undetermined amount of time until our case is in transit? I really don’t understand what’s going on and it seems no one else does either 😅

I am just as confused too 🤦🏻‍♀️ from what I have been reading we will be receiving an email once the case is sent over to our fiancé overseas but in the mean time people have been left in the dark (30-45 days) with no way to communicate with NVC due to them not taking our calls. I have been trying to find the dates NVC is processing but I haven’t found any information on that.

I have been having that too, been waiting since April 27. I have no clue what's going on with my case and I'm at my wits end. I've sent the NVC an inquiry on the 23rd of May but have heard nothing.  I think cause the consulate was closed so many months might be where the delay is. This is absolutely ridiculous. :(

My opinion is don’t rely on NVC for any updates.  I sent an inquiry about our case on April 26th, two days ago June 14th I received an email answer to that inquiry, stating that they had forwarded my case to the embassy.  In the meantime, we had already heard from the embassy and scheduled our appointment for June 28.  We were fortunate enough that we received our case number before they quit answering the phones.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that NVC wont take phone calls, after waiting a year from NOA 1 to 2 with no communication, I thought finally there would be an avenue to keep informed about our case, turned out not to be true.

I don’t know how they are going to solve this, I just know they should not treat their citizens trying to do things the proper way through immigration completely in the dark through the entire process.

Hey! Question, what did you write in the email you sent to NVC? It was sent in the public inquiry thing or via an actual email address?

I sent it through the public inquiry email.  But like I said earlier don't expect anything from them anytime soon, unless since they are not taking phone calls, they are more prompt in answering inquiries

Our case got to the embassy in Paris and we are devastated to hear it could be another 4 months or so until we get an interview.

anyone else dealing with longer embassy times? to be honest I wasn’t mentally ready for another wait and I’m crushed

Sorry for posting so much, but I feel somewhat lost and confused right now. It took almost 400 days for the USCIS to approve the petition and just to keep waiting just feels so horrible. It's been 55 days, with nothing. I sent an inquiry May 23rd but haven't heard anything. Does anyone know why this is occurring? Could it be that the consulate currently has no open interviews? They were closed for 8 months, it's the one in Auckland, New Zealand. I find this to not be right though because on their times that show how long getting an interview takes, their non immigrant interviews take 100 days or so. I know this doesn't apply to K-1 visa but I figure it would give some look into how busy they are. Or is it something like they haven't received my case yet? I'm just not sure. I've been doing everything I can but I can't stand not having any direction and feeling so lost. My lawyer doesn't seem to care but I'm scared of what to do. I can't call the consulate because they never have a real person on the line I can talk to, and the NVC doesn't answer. I look at their times, but they didn't even update them yesterday. Maybe due to the holiday? I'm not sure, but I'm losing hope. I don't get it.

I think your guess about the consulate not having interview times is probably correct.  When the NVC was taking calls they told me my case would be sent off when the consulate was opening interview times.  Who knows whether their timeline for case processing has been updated if they were closed for eight months. I know it's all very frustrating, best of luck.
