Will it be an issue if we don't have the hardcopy of NOA2? There has been huge trouble with address change as USPS dont recognize my fiances military address. We tried everything and we thought it was solved, but we have not received the expedite approval letter from April 2nd or the NOA2 from 21st April. It seems like USCIS did not update the address as they said they would?

Hello everyone!

As far as I understand when NVC assigns a case number, they inform us via email, correct? Do they have a delay in sending email with a case number?

For example, they assigned a case number on Monday and 1) send an email with the case number same day or next day or 2)they send an email with the case number with 3 or more days delay 

 

It’s been 3 weeks since NOA2, so I’m wondering whether to call them or wait for email….

Another question for your guys - on the physical copy of the NOA2, it has validity dates (ending in July 2022). What does that mean exactly? If it needs to be extended is that something I do with the embassy?

Hi all. I just called NVC and they told me they have received our case May 5th. Our NOA2 was April 21st

I would assume there are options when you call NVC. I called immigrant line and it started telling the options. It got to the second like "invoice" and I pressed two before listening other options. But I am sure there is something for your situation too. I called around 9am NVC time, and first call just bluntly denied because lines were busy. I waited few minutes and managed to get on the line. I waited 103 minutes before they picked up. So be patience is the key
