Hey all you who got their NOA2 earlier this month, have you heard any news since? :) Based on google it would take up to 60days from USCIS simply to mail the case to the NVC?! Is this really true? That we would add extra 2months to NVC timeframes to estimate when NVC would be ready with the case?

called NVC on Friday, they also mentioned that it would take up to 60 days from USCIS to NVC.

Update on our case!

Just reached out to NVC and they stated they received our case on April 21, 2022, but have not assigned a case number yet.

Hope this helps anyone looking for any updates as Anastasiia and I have been waiting.

We received our NOA2 on 4/7. I talked to NVC and some bad news, good news.  Bad news it can taking up to 60 days for receipt of case from the service center, the good news is if your Foreign embassy is accepting the applications they are going immediately to the consulate there for processing and interview

I just got an email with my case number and instructions for my fiance. The email says it can take several weeks to get to the embassy - we'll see!

Guessing each NVC employee may have there own opinion.  The gentleman I spoke to said it depends on the embassy, in my case he said Argentina was accepting hem immediately, of course whatever immediate is in their world. Lol

I think they'll receive your petition from USCIS any day. from my experience so far, from the time they got it, it took them exactly a week to create a case number. i got my approval on 4/1 and they received it on 4/19 so if they didn't get yours already, it should be any time! for the shipping to the embassy part, the embassy has to request NVC to send them cases. so it's good that there's no backlog at yours!!

I read the NVC tips words doc from here and it said to use the "ask NVC" form to update our emails there, so we could get notified via email when our case is created. I don't know if it works or not, but I did that anyway :P
