Top 5 Reasons for RFE (based on K1 Visa RFE Master List😞

  1. Lack of evidence for meeting in the past two years. This is by far the most frequently mentioned reason. U.S. immigration laws require evidence that a couple in a fiance(e) visa process has met in person within the two years preceding the filing.

  2. Missing or incomplete Divorce Decree. Divorce decrees are required to prove that any previous marriages have been legally terminated. Common issues include not sending all pages of the decree, missing signatures, sending in an unsigned or non-finalized version, or not sending in the decree at all.

  3. Issues with the birth certificate. This often involves sending in a short form birth certificate, a birth certificate not properly copied, or a birth certificate from a hospital. In all cases, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) usually requires a long-form, certified copy of a birth certificate.

  4. Incomplete forms or missing signatures. The packet was sent missing signatures on certain pages or having left various questions blank on I-129F and G-325A forms.

  5. Missing or improper letters of intent to marry. Letters of intent are necessary to demonstrate both parties are free to marry and intend to do so within a period of 90 days.

Please note that these conclusions are based on the provided information, and the actual reasons for RFEs can vary depending on the specifics of the case and the current regulations of the USCIS.

Here are the top five groups that are being processed the fastest based on this assumption (calculated by taking the ratio of Approvals to Total Cases):

  1. 71000: 132 Approvals out of 224 Total Cases (58.9%)
  2. 67000: 91 Approvals out of 177 Total Cases (51.4%)
  3. 68500: 107 Approvals out of 203 Total Cases (52.7%)
  4. 67500: 75 Approvals out of 137 Total Cases (54.7%)
  5. 70500: 101 Approvals out of 226 Total Cases (44.7%)

I fed approval data into chatgpt to figure out when my number 700xx will be approved... HOLY #######:

PROMPT:

based on the data provided, give me a rough estimate on when 700xx will be approved.

To estimate when case number 700xx will be approved, we need to consider several factors from the provided data, including the average rate of case approvals and the number of untouched cases before 700xx. However, I'd like to emphasize that this is a rough estimate and may not be accurate due to many variables involved in the approval process.

From the data you've provided, we can see that case numbers near 70000 have an approval completion percentage of about 52.2% with 211 total cases. Assuming the same rate continues and given that the case numbers are processed sequentially, we can estimate the time to approval as follows:

There are xx cases from 70000 to 700xx. If 52.2% of these have been completed, that means about 47 cases still need to be processed before reaching 700xx. If we have an average approval rate based on the daily updates (taking 112 approvals from the daily update on 5/18/23), we can estimate the number of days required for these 47 cases to be processed.

47 cases / 112 approvals per day = approximately 0.42 days

However, the approval rate can vary significantly from day to day, so let's be conservative and consider possible fluctuations and delays. Assuming a slower approval rate and taking into account weekends and holidays, it could take anywhere from 1 to 3 days under normal circumstances for case number 700xx to be approved after 5/18/23.

Again, this is a rough estimate and can vary greatly depending on many factors such as the case's complexity, changes in approval rates, administrative issues, etc. It's always a good idea to check for updates frequently or contact the appropriate department for more precise information.

So next week. 😂

If my math checks out 😂 and the rate of USCIS processing cases stays the same, most cases should be processed by the next 7 to 8 business days. However, it looks like they gonna start working on May cases next week. So I'm expecting the rate that they processing April cases will slowdown. I think.
